HPDC'14 Student Travel Awards

Student travel awards to HPDC'2014 have been generously sponsored by ACM SIGARCH and NSF.

A limited number of student travel assistance grants will be available to students. These grants will be distributed after the conference in the form of reimbursements against actual travel, registration, and accommodations expenses submitted by the student. The number and amount of the grants will depend on the number of qualified applications and the amount of sponsor funds HPDC'14 will have available.

Applications are due by May 29, 2014. Notification of the awards and their amounts will be made as much prior to the conference as possible.

To qualify for student travel grant assistance, a recipient must be a full-time student (undergraduate or graduate) registered at a US or international university. Students (especially undergraduates or early-year graduate students) who have a paper or poster co-authored at HPDC'14 or one of the associated workshops are especially encouraged to apply. Note that priority will be given to students presenting their work at the conference, with conference presentations having priority over workshop presentations, and then to students who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference.

To apply for the travel awards please email your CV and a short cover letter explaining your reason to attend the conference and how you will benefit from it to hpdc14.travel.award@gmail.com no later than May 29th, 2014.

Please note that HPDC has access to US-NSF travel grants for US students. If you would like to be considered for one of these, it would be helpful if you provide the following optional data: gender, minority status, and whether you are a US citizen / permanent resident.

Please DO NOT contact ACM or SIGARCH directly regarding this award.
